Home Repair Application Round 2

Last Day applications will be accepted: 3:00 PM – March 17, 2026
Policy Documents (English, Espanol)
Funding amount available: $500 – $4,250 (this is a grant)
- Are you listed on the deed of your home as the owner? (Paying a mortgage is okay!)
- Is the home needing repairs located in Cumberland County and is it your primary residence?
- Does your household earn less than the program income limits linked below?
- Do you lack the money to pay for the repairs yourself?
- Are your property taxes caught up and the home insured?
- Is your repair necessary to keep living in the home safely and comfortably?
- Is your home built on a permanent foundation?
If you can answer yes to all these questions, then you are likely going to be eligible for repair assistance. Apply now for assistance that can improve safety, health, and accessibility for eligible homeowners.
NEW: Repair estimates are not required for this application.
Qualification Information
- Funding priorities
— First priority will be given to homeowner applicants aged 60 years or older
–Second priority will be given to homeowner applicants with children living in the home
–Third priority to all other homeowner applicants - Household income meets program limits
– Click here to learn more about the income threshold - Applicant is an owner and occupant of the home (applicant(s) must be listed on the ownership deed and live in the home unless suitable documentation is provided demonstrating why someone listed on the deed is not)
- Single detached home, or a qualifying manufactured home
– Click here to learn more about the property requirements - Home is insured and property taxes are current
Eligible Repairs or Modifications to be considered include (but not limited to):
- roof
- heat and air conditioning
- plumbing
- windows
- insulation
- installation of grab bars
- accessibility ramps
- high color contrast step markers
- door widening
- heightened toilet seats
- accessible showers
- other repairs that remove health and safety hazards or improve accessibility

7. Is your home built on a permanent foundation?
