Please consider joining Creative Compassion for our patriotic Stars & Stripes Run/Walk 5K!

This 5K will take place at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds & the beautiful Obed River Park on June 24 at 8:00 a.m. All participants will receive a medal and a t-shirt. Prizes will be given to the winners of each age group. The race is chip timed. The shirt design is pictured below. A huge thank you to Becky’s Blessings for designing our shirt! Plenty of shirts are being ordered, so your size should be available!

The purpose of this 5K is to raise money to help keep local Veterans from experiencing homelessness. Money from this race will go toward home repairs and other housing assistance that intends to keep Veterans comfortable and safe in their homes. The soaring cost of rental deposits can also be a barrier to housing, especially for low-income Veterans, and we aim to help with that with funds from this chip-timed race. We owe our Veterans more than we can ever repay, but we can help them when they need a hand. Thank you for wanting to be a part of Creative Compassion’s mission!
