This 5K will take place at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds & the beautiful Obed River Park on June 1 at 7:00 a.m.

Every effort will be made to ensure that all participants receive a medal and a t-shirt. Trophies will be given to the winners of each age group. The race is chip timed.

The purpose of this 5K is to raise money to help keep local Veterans from experiencing homelessness. Last year’s money went to house two homeless veterans. Money may also go toward home repairs and other housing assistance that intends to keep Veterans comfortable and safe in their homes. The soaring cost of rental deposits can also be a barrier to housing, especially for low-income Veterans, and we aim to help with that with funds from this chip-timed race. We owe our Veterans more than we can ever repay, but we can help them when they need a hand. Thank you for wanting to be a part of Creative Compassion’s mission!
