What Your Support Means
Funding for Creative Compassion’s programs comes from federal/state/foundation grants, churches, and individuals who believe in helping people meet a basic need: decent housing.
“Decent housing” means someone has a place to sleep at night. It means a safe, dry, warm place for families to grow together and seniors to age in place.
Creative Compassion strives to exist solely for the reason of offering people the opportunity:
- To become a home owner
- To maintain their home
- To keep current on their housing bills
Donations specifically help families in our area to maintain their homes through costly necessary home repairs and to keep their electric, water, and gas on when circumstances make them unable to stay up to date. At least eighty percent of every donated dollar is directly poured back into our community by helping someone in need.
As of August 31, 2022, we have assisted 50 local families with utility, rent, and mortgage payments while they faced an unexpected financial hardship. We have 2 modest new homes under construction for first-time homebuyers. We have helped 5 households pay for home repairs (3 being veterans).
Creative Compassion, Inc. is a faith-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and we appreciate your support.
Donations received are tax deductible.
