Protecting Customer Privacy Information is a top priority. This Privacy Notice applies to all information submitted to Creative Compassion, Inc. (from herein referred to as CCI). CCI is a state of Tennessee-registered 501©3 nonprofit, with affordable housing services involving new home construction, residential mortgage loans, and payment assistance. By utilizing CCI services, you are consenting to the data practices described herein.
Collection of Personal Data
CCI will only collect and maintain information necessary to best serving its customers. This includes information such as: First and Last Name, Email Address, Birthday, Phone Number, Mailing Address, Residence, Employer, Job Title, Driver’s License, Social Security Number, Income, Family Size, etc.
We do not collect any personally identifying information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available by working with us. This includes information listed above. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services you have requested from us and fulfilling your request for those services to our best ability.
Use of Your Personal Information
CCI collects and uses your information to deliver the services you have requested.
CCI may also use your information to inform you other services that may be beneficial to you, based upon the information submitted to us.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
CCI does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists or information to third parties.
CCI may share data with trusted affordable housing partners that are necessary to fulfill the services you have requested. These partners include, but is not limited to Fahe, Tennessee Housing Development Agency, Housing Assistance Council, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, United States Department of Agriculture, Accurate Financial Services. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to you; they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
CCI may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: confirm to the law or comply with the legal process served on CCI or the site; protect and defend rights or property of CCI; and/or act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of customers of CCI or the public.
Opt Out Statement
CCI customers may opt out from volunteering demographic information related to race, gender, ethnicity, etc. Customers may opt out by checking the boxes on certain loan documents, stating they do not wish to supply such information.
However, they may not opt of supplying information necessary to providing the services they requested, such as household size, employment, family size, income, or any information commonly required to fulfill mortgage/payment assistance services in the lending industry.
Security of Non-Public Information
CCI maintains a security protocol to ensure customer’s private information is kept secure. This includes: encryption on electronic storage & email service, locking away files from customer traffic areas, password-protected computers, HIPPA-compliant online application server, and security-monitored 24/7 monitoring service.
