This class is taught by local resident and weather professional Mark Baldwin (otherwise known as Meteorologist Mark). Mark also works as our Deputy Director at Creative Compassion!
Stonehaus Winery opened on the Cumberland Plateau in 1991 and is Tennessee’s only winery with statewide distribution. Stonehaus is a family-owned business that is proud for the opportunity to support local missions.
What Will You Learn in the Seminar
Enjoy an evening of deluxe refreshments while learning about how weather and climate have impacted the wine industry in the past, present, and potential impacts in the future. This one-hour class will leave attendees with a greater appreciation for the power and intricacies of weather and climate and their impacts on wineries and the grapes they produce. The Weather + Wine seminar is being held at Stonehaus Winery on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 5:00 o’clock in the evening. Light refreshments, including appetizers and dessert, will be served. Alcohol will not be served during the seminar, however wine tasting will be available by Stonehaus Winery staff post-course. Stonehaus will have samples of many of the wines discussed in class.
